Student Challenge // TechChill

Here comes the Student Challenge! For multiple years in a row, it's the must have side event of TechChill. This year is no exception we are giving you, students*, the chance to get to know the startup ecosystem and get your hands dirty!

The Challenge will consist of two events on the 11th and 13th of May where you will both get to:

  • hear short presentations from startup founders and ecosystem players;
  • will have to challenge yourselves by developing your own ideas (as silly or serious as you want).


Those who will attend both events will get to receive free ticket to TechChill this year (+ merch from the organizers).

11th of May - Founder Stories

Get to hear the stories from founders and how they came to develop their ideas into actual products. Founders stories will be followed by an idea generation workshop, where in groups you will need to come up with your own startup idea. Don't worry - we will guide you through this!

13th of May - Finding Funding

During the second session you will get to know main startup ecosystem players in Latvia and get to know our very own regional accelerators. Which will be followed by a session where you will learn how to pitch and get to develop your crazy idea further and pitch it to an audience.
