Job description

Programming technicians work in organisations which use information technologies and are involved in software design, integration and maintenance as well as the existing software customisation for specific customer needs.

They are able to use the existing resources efficiently, make proposals for resource modernisation and consult users in their work places operating work stations.

They are aware of various computer network technologies and follow latest programming Technologies and tools.

They are able to document software in accordance with state and international standards.

Specific skills in the profession

- To know at least two programming languages and code previously designed algorithms using them;
- To read technical design diagrams and schemes;
- To design simple algorithms and data structures;
- To select appropriate software and tools for problem solving;
- To perform simple data protection and security activities;
- To configure to work station and work tools;
- To use Internet technologies;
- To use data demand languages;
- To apply software testing skills;
- To annotate software
- To write applications and patches;
